With over 20 years of experience, Ashley Good is the only professional female DJ/MC in Northern California specializing in weddings. She brings unparalleled expertise, creativity, and passion to every event, crafting unforgettable experiences with her ability to read the room, engage audiences, and seamlessly blend music.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ashley moved to California to pursue a career in broadcasting, spending several years on air at Live 105 in San Francisco and 100.5 FM in Sacramento. Her live radio background honed her skills as a professional emcee, giving her the confidence and versatility to engage any crowd—from intimate gatherings to stadiums and live events with over 5,000 attendees.
Since 2004, Ashley has been a resident DJ at Fog City Entertainment (FCE), where she has mastered the art of curating the perfect playlist, taking live requests, and adapting her sets to every client’s unique vision. In 2020, she took over ownership of FCE, expanding its services and reach. In 2023, she launched Gold Country Entertainment (GCE) to bring the same exceptional experience to the Sacramento Valley, Gold Country, and Lake Tahoe regions.
Ashley exclusively uses top-of-the-line, premium equipment to deliver superior sound and performance, ensuring an elevated and immersive experience at every event. While Team DJs use professional-grade gear, Ashley’s setup is meticulously curated to exceed expectations and bring a luxurious touch to every celebration.
Beyond her DJ career, Ashley is the Research Director for a Silicon Valley nonprofit. A proud Stanford University graduate, she earned her B.Sc. in Biology with honors and holds a M.Sc. in Psychology. She has conducted and published scientific research in peer-reviewed journals and continues to contribute to advancements in autism research.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys biking, hiking, traveling, cooking, and riding her motorcycle. Ashley is also an animal lover and a volunteer dog trainer.
